Art ECT - Secondary Schools in Liverpool

Are you an Early Career Teacher of Art looking to begin your teaching career in supportive secondary schools across Liverpool?

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a range of secondary schools in Liverpool who are seeking enthusiastic Art ECTs to join their teams from September. These schools offer excellent induction programmes, experienced mentors, and strong opportunities to develop your classroom practice in a creative and supportive environment.

As an Art ECT in Liverpool, you will deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping students develop their creativity, technical skills, and confidence across a range of media. Whether your specialism is fine art, textiles, photography or mixed media, we have Liverpool-based opportunities to match your experience and career aspirations.

We are looking for:

  • Qualified Art ECTs or trainee teachers due to achieve QTS
  • Passionate Secondary Art Teachers with strong subject knowledge
  • Individuals committed to raising attainment and nurturing creativity
  • Teachers confident delivering Art at KS3 and KS4

Requirements:

To be considered, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Art, or due to achieve QTS by September 2026
  • An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Full career history
  • Two professional references, including your most recent placement
  • Legal right to work in the UK
