Maths Teacher - Milton Keynes

Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire

Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Milton Keynes that is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Maths Teacher from September 2026. The school would ideally appoint on a permanent basis; however, applications from candidates interested in fixed-term or long-term supply roles will also be considered.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and well-planned Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Opportunity to teach A-Level Mathematics, depending on experience and school requirements

  • Plan, adapt, and deliver lessons that meet the needs of students with varying abilities

  • Monitor, assess, and support student progress through effective feedback and intervention

  • Work collaboratively within a dedicated and supportive Maths department

  • Contribute to wider school activities, including revision sessions, interventions, and enrichment opportunities

  • Inspire students to develop confidence, resilience, and a positive attitude towards Mathematics

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS/QTLS (or equivalent) with a specialism in Mathematics

  • Confident delivering the Maths curriculum, including GCSE content

  • Passionate about making Mathematics accessible, engaging, and meaningful for all students

  • Committed to supporting students to achieve their full potential

  • A positive, reliable, and collaborative team player

  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment

  • Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are very welcome to apply, with excellent mentoring and induction support available
