Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications)
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Are you an experienced Nursery Manager or ambitious Deputy Manager ready to lead a thriving early years setting? Storal is looking for a passionate and inspiring Nursery Manager to lead ateam at a Nursery School, creating an environment where children flourish, families feel supported, and practitioners are empowered to be their best.

As Nursery Manager, you'll be supported by an experienced team including an Operations Manager, Deputy Manager, Office Manager, Early Years Educators and an Education Coach, all working together to deliver exceptional early years education.

The Role

As Nursery Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in the day-to-day success of the nursery, ensuring the setting has the right people, culture, policies and resources in place to deliver outstanding childcare and learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing nursery team.
  • Ensure the highest standards of childcare, safeguarding and early years education.
  • Drive continuous improvement across learning environments, teaching practice and nursery operations.
  • Support and coach staff, encouraging professional growth and development.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
  • Promote an inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
  • Ensure compliance with EYFS requirements and nursery policies.

What We're Looking For

We'd love to hear from candidates who have:

  • A full and relevant Early Years qualification at Level 3 or above (or equivalent).
  • GCSE Maths (or equivalent).
  • Experience in a nursery management role, including administration and operational leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
  • Experience in staff training, coaching and support.
  • Demonstrable leadership skills within an Early Years environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
