Secondary Teaching Assistant
Location: Waltham Forest
Pay: £95-£110 per day
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time | Term Time Only

The successful candidate will play a vital role in helping students achieve academically while also supporting their confidence, wellbeing and personal development.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant you will:

  • Support teaching and learning across a range of curriculum subjects.
  • Work closely with teachers to differentiate learning for individual students.
  • Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions.
  • Support students with SEND, SEMH and additional learning needs.
  • Encourage positive behaviour using the school's behaviour policy.
  • Help monitor student progress and record achievements.
  • Build trusting relationships that help students flourish both academically and personally.
