Teaching Assistant
Location: Haringey
Salary: £95-£110 per day
Contract: Full-time

Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting a Teaching Assistant for a thriving secondary school in Haringey that prides itself on providing outstanding support for all learners.

Working across several departments, you will help students access learning, improve confidence and reach their academic potential.

Responsibilities

  • Assist teachers during lessons.
  • Work with students on a one-to-one basis.
  • Support pupils with SEND and additional learning needs.
  • Deliver literacy and numeracy intervention programmes.
  • Help students prepare for assessments and examinations.
  • Monitor student engagement and progress.
  • Promote positive relationships across the school community.
  • Support students during breaktimes and enrichment activities when required.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience supporting secondary-aged students or transferable youth work experience.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Passion for helping young people succeed.
