We are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Wellingborough that is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Class Teacher to join their team from September 2026. The role will be 4 days per week, making it an ideal opportunity for an experienced teacher or ECT looking for a part-time position within a positive school environment.
The school is seeking a teacher who can create engaging learning experiences, build strong relationships with pupils, and contribute positively to the wider school community.
The Role
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Primary National Curriculum
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils with different abilities and learning needs
Monitor and assess pupil progress to support future planning
Maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning, and achievement
Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
Encourage confidence, independence, resilience, and a positive attitude towards learning
Work closely with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents
Contribute to school activities, events, and the wider life of the school
About You
Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Experience teaching within a UK primary school is desirable
Strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum
Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
A nurturing and enthusiastic approach to teaching
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
Adaptable, reliable, and committed to professional development
ECTs are encouraged to apply and will receive appropriate support and mentoring
Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
