We are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Wellingborough that is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Class Teacher to join their team from September 2026. The role will be 4 days per week, making it an ideal opportunity for an experienced teacher or ECT looking for a part-time position within a positive school environment.

The school is seeking a teacher who can create engaging learning experiences, build strong relationships with pupils, and contribute positively to the wider school community.

The Role

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Primary National Curriculum

  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment

  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils with different abilities and learning needs

  • Monitor and assess pupil progress to support future planning

  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning, and achievement

  • Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development

  • Encourage confidence, independence, resilience, and a positive attitude towards learning

  • Work closely with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents

  • Contribute to school activities, events, and the wider life of the school

About You

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

  • Experience teaching within a UK primary school is desirable

  • Strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum

  • Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills

  • A nurturing and enthusiastic approach to teaching

  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues

  • Adaptable, reliable, and committed to professional development

  • ECTs are encouraged to apply and will receive appropriate support and mentoring

  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
