Maths Teacher - Wellingborough

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Wellingborough.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is committed to delivering engaging and effective Maths lessons and helping students develop their confidence and understanding of the subject.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative department and play an important role in supporting students to achieve their academic potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.

• Differentiate lessons effectively to meet the needs of all learners.

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.

• Support students in developing their mathematical knowledge, confidence, and problem-solving skills.

• Maintain high expectations of behaviour and achievement.

• Work collaboratively with the Maths department and wider school staff.

• Contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.

• A strong subject knowledge of Mathematics.

• Experience teaching Maths at secondary level.

• Excellent classroom management skills.

• A passion for supporting young people and helping them succeed.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.

• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
