The Role

As a French and Spanish Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons that motivate students to develop their language skills and cultural understanding. You will plan and deliver high-quality lessons, assess student progress, and contribute to the wider success of the MFL department.

Responsibilities

• Teach French and Spanish across KS3 and KS4.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support students in achieving their full academic potential.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues within the department and across the school.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching both French and Spanish in a secondary school setting.
• Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for languages.
• Has excellent classroom management skills.
• Is committed to raising attainment and supporting student progress.
• Possesses strong communication and organisational skills.
