The Role

We are seeking an engaging and motivated English Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons that encourage students to develop their reading, writing, and analytical skills. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting student progress and fostering a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4.
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support students in achieving strong academic outcomes.
• Contribute to the wider success of the English department and school community.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching English within a secondary school setting.
• Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for English.
• Has excellent classroom management skills.
• Is committed to raising attainment and supporting student development.
• Possesses strong communication and organisational skills.
