Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant ready to take the next step in your education career?

Tradewind Recruitment is looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join support primary schools across Warrington. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced TA or existing HLTA who is confident supporting pupils, delivering interventions and providing classroom cover when required.

We are looking for someone who can take initiative and work confidently alongside teachers, while also providing consistent support to pupils across the school.

As an HLTA, you will:

  • Provide classroom cover when teachers are unavailable
  • Support pupils across different year groups and abilities
  • Deliver small-group and individual interventions
  • Work alongside teachers to support learning and pupil progress
  • Help prepare and organise classroom resources and activities
  • Support pupils who may require additional help with their learning
  • Promote positive behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Build strong relationships with pupils and staff
  • Use your initiative to support the wider needs of the school

This HLTA role would suit an experienced Teaching Assistant who is ready to take on additional responsibility, as well as candidates who already hold HLTA status or have substantial classroom experience.

The successful candidate will be confident, organised and able to adapt quickly to different classroom situations. You should be comfortable working independently while also being a strong team player.

Previous experience delivering interventions, covering classes or supporting pupils across different year groups would be particularly useful.
