Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time

The successful candidate will join a supportive department and play an important role in encouraging students to participate in a wide range of sporting activities.

The Role:

  • Planning and delivering engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

  • Teaching a range of practical sports and physical activities.

  • Supporting students to develop their sporting skills, confidence, and teamwork.

  • Monitoring, assessing, and supporting student progress.

  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.

  • Encouraging participation in extracurricular sporting activities where required.

  • Contributing to the wider life of the PE department and school community.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.

  • Has experience teaching PE within a secondary school setting.

  • Has strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

  • Is passionate about sport and inspiring young people.

  • Can build positive relationships with students and colleagues.

  • Is enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to high standards of teaching and learning.
