The Role

As a Music Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and inspiring Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

• Plan and deliver creative lessons that encourage participation and enjoyment.

• Teach a range of musical skills, including performance, composition, and listening.

• Assess, monitor, and support student progress.

• Create an inclusive classroom environment where all students can succeed.

• Support extracurricular activities, performances, concerts, and school productions where appropriate.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the success of the department.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.

• Have experience teaching Music within a secondary school setting.

• Be passionate about music education and inspiring young people.

• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

• Have excellent communication and organisational abilities.

• Be committed to achieving the best outcomes for all students.
