Class Teacher - Wellingborough

ASAP or October Half Term Start | Full-Time | Main Pay Scale | Upper Key Stage 2

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Class Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Wellingborough, teaching within Upper Key Stage 2. The role is available to start ASAP or from October half term.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher with experience in Years 5 and 6 who is looking for a full-time, long-term position within a supportive and nurturing school environment.

The Role

  • Full-time Class Teacher position teaching Upper Key Stage 2

  • Teaching a Year 5 or Year 6 class within a welcoming primary school in Wellingborough

  • ASAP or October half term start available

  • Salary paid in line with the Main Pay Scale

  • Planning and delivering engaging and creative lessons across the Upper Key Stage 2 curriculum

  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment

  • Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development

  • Preparing pupils for the transition to secondary school

  • Assessing and monitoring pupil progress

  • Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Has experience teaching within Upper Key Stage 2, particularly Years 5 or 6

  • Has strong knowledge of the primary and Key Stage 2 curriculum

  • Is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning

  • Can build strong relationships with pupils and staff

  • Is organised, enthusiastic and committed to pupil progress

  • Has strong classroom management skills

  • Can motivate and engage pupils of different abilities

  • Is available to start ASAP or from October half term
