Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to work across schools in Rushden and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants, Cover Supervisors and existing HLTAs who are looking for flexible work, new opportunities and the chance to gain valuable experience across a variety of school settings.

As an HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting teachers and pupils, with opportunities to lead lessons, deliver planned activities and provide targeted support to individuals and groups of pupils. You may be required to cover classes in the absence of a teacher, ensuring that pupils remain engaged and continue to make progress with their learning.

You will work closely with teaching staff and school leadership teams to create a positive, inclusive and well-managed learning environment. Depending on the school and role, responsibilities may include supporting pupils with additional needs, delivering interventions, managing classroom behaviour and helping pupils develop their confidence and independence.

We are looking for candidates who are confident, organised, reliable and passionate about education. Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA is highly desirable, along with the ability to manage a classroom effectively and build positive relationships with pupils.
