Experienced Year 1 Teacher - Wirral

Start Date: Monday 2nd November
Contract: Long-term - until July 2027
Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday

Tradewind Recruitment are looking for an experienced primary teacher to join a welcoming school on the Wirral, teaching a Year 1 class on a long-term basis.

This role would suit a confident and experienced teacher who has a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and is able to hit the ground running.

You will take full responsibility for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing pupil progress and creating a positive classroom environment where children feel supported and motivated to learn.

The school is looking for a teacher who:

• Has solid experience teaching in a primary school
• Has previous Year 1 or KS1 experience
• Has strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
• Is confident with planning, assessment and classroom management
• Can build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
• Is organised, reliable and able to work independently
• Has high expectations for behaviour and learning

This is a long-term opportunity through to July 2027, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right teacher.
