SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant - Prenton

Start Date: Monday 12th October
Contract: Long-term - until July 2027
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm

Tradewind Recruitment are looking for a caring and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support to a pupil at a welcoming primary school in Prenton.

This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and wants to become a consistent and valued member of a school team.

You will work closely with the class teacher and wider school staff to support the pupil with their learning, confidence, communication and day-to-day experience in school.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous experience supporting children with SEND
• Be confident providing 1:1 support
• Have a calm, patient and nurturing approach
• Be able to build strong relationships with pupils
• Be consistent, reliable and proactive
• Have a genuine passion for helping children make progress

The school offers a supportive environment and this role would suit an experienced TA looking for a long-term position with the potential to become permanent.
