Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity in a supportive secondary school?

We are currently working with a well-established secondary school in Ealing that is looking for a committed Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026.

The Role

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support to students who require additional assistance

• Supporting students to access the curriculum and participate fully in lessons

• Working closely with teachers and the school's pastoral and support teams

• Supporting students with their academic, social and emotional development

• Helping students develop confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours

• Adapting support to meet individual students' needs

• Assisting with classroom activities and learning resources

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience working with children or young people

• Experience working within a school or educational setting is desirable

• A patient, calm and empathetic approach

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Able to build positive and professional relationships with students

• Confident supporting students with a range of learning and additional needs

• Resilient, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team

• A genuine passion for helping young people achieve their potential

• Willingness to learn and develop within the role
