A 2-form entry primary school in Hayes is looking for a committed and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join its team from January 2027 on a full-time, long-term basis, with the role running through to the end of the academic year.

The school has an established teaching team and a focus on creating a positive learning environment where children are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning. With two classes in each year group, teachers have the opportunity to work collaboratively, share planning and resources, and contribute to the wider school community.

This is an opportunity to take responsibility for a KS1 class, delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils as they develop their core skills in reading, writing and maths.

The Role

You'll be responsible for teaching a KS1 class, planning and delivering lessons across the curriculum and supporting pupils' academic and personal development.

Responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum.
• Teaching English, maths and foundation subjects.
• Developing pupils' reading, writing and phonics skills.
• Assessing pupil progress and adapting lessons to meet different learning needs.
• Establishing clear classroom routines and maintaining positive behaviour.
• Supporting pupils to develop confidence, independence and a positive attitude towards learning.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to share planning, resources and ideas.

You'll need:
