Role Highlights:

• Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the school's planning and curriculum expectations

• Provide effective cover across KS1 and KS2

• Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment

• Adapt quickly to different schools, classroom settings, and pupil needs

• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff

• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management

• Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development

• Differentiate learning and provide appropriate support for pupils with SEND and additional needs

• Follow school policies, safeguarding procedures, and behaviour expectations

• Provide feedback to the class teacher regarding pupil progress and behaviour where required

• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, support staff, and school leadership

• Contribute positively to the wider school community

About You:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

• Have experience teaching within a UK primary school setting

• Have a strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum

• Be confident teaching across KS1 and/or KS2

• Have strong classroom management skills

• Be adaptable, reliable, and able to settle quickly into new school environments

• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Be passionate about helping children achieve their full potential

• Be committed to creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment

• Have a positive and professional approach to teaching

• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
