Role Overview

As a Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, managing classroom behaviour and supporting pupils' learning and development. You may work across different year groups and schools, so being adaptable and confident is essential.

You can choose the days you are available and benefit from a variety of opportunities, from daily supply to longer-term placements.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Delivering engaging and effective lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2

• Following lesson plans and adapting activities where appropriate

• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment

• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies

• Supporting pupils with their learning and development

• Maintaining high expectations of pupil behaviour and achievement

• Working effectively with teaching assistants and school staff

• Following safeguarding procedures and school policies

• Providing appropriate feedback to school staff where required

• Maintaining a professional and reliable approach across different school settings

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential

• Experience teaching within EYFS, KS1 or KS2

• Strong classroom management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Reliable, adaptable and confident working in different school environments

• A strong understanding of safeguarding

• Passionate about supporting children's learning and development

• Able to quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff

• Available for flexible or regular supply work
