Chemistry Teaching Opportunities
Roles may involve teaching Chemistry across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities potentially extending into A Level depending on the school.
You may be responsible for:
- Delivering engaging Chemistry and Science lessons
- Teaching KS3 and KS4
- Preparing pupils for GCSE examinations
- Planning practical and theoretical learning
- Differentiating lessons appropriately
- Assessing pupil progress
- Maintaining strong classroom routines
- Supporting pupils to develop scientific knowledge and understanding
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for teachers who:
- Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Have strong Chemistry subject knowledge
- Have secondary teaching experience
- Can confidently teach KS3 and KS4 Science
- Have strong classroom management
- Can engage pupils through practical and theoretical Science
- Are committed to high standards and pupil progress
