EYFS Teacher - Maternity Cover

Location: Bury, Greater Manchester
Contract: Full-time, long-term maternity cover

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Bury on a maternity cover basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Early Years practitioner who understands the importance of providing children with a strong foundation for their educational journey. The school is looking for a teacher who can create a stimulating, inclusive and engaging learning environment where children feel confident to explore, develop and thrive.

The Role

• Planning and delivering engaging, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework.

• Supporting children's communication, language, social and emotional development.

• Creating a stimulating environment that encourages curiosity and independence.

• Observing, assessing and tracking pupil progress.

• Working closely with teaching assistants and the wider Early Years team.

• Building positive relationships with parents and carers.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Has experience teaching within EYFS or Reception.

• Has a strong understanding of early childhood development.

• Is creative, patient and enthusiastic.

• Can create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
