Year 6 Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment are looking for a motivated and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Tottington.

This role would suit a confident Key Stage 2 practitioner who can deliver engaging lessons, maintain high standards and support pupils as they prepare for the transition to secondary school. Experience with SATs preparation would be advantageous, alongside a strong commitment to pupils' academic progress and wellbeing.

The Role

• Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across the Year 6 curriculum.

• Preparing pupils for end-of-Key-Stage-2 assessments where appropriate.

• Using assessment information to identify gaps and plan targeted interventions.

• Maintaining a positive, focused and inclusive classroom.

• Supporting pupils' confidence, resilience and independence.

• Working with colleagues and school leaders to support successful pupil outcomes.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds QTS and has experience teaching upper Key Stage 2.

• Has strong knowledge of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs requirements.

• Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management.

• Can balance academic expectations with pupils' emotional wellbeing.

• Is organised, proactive and committed to helping every child achieve their potential.
