Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for enthusiastic, caring, and motivated SEN Teaching Assistants to work in fantastic schools across Camden and Islington!

We have opportunities in Good and Outstanding schools, supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), both on a 1:1 basis and within the wider classroom.

Whether you're an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or a recent graduate looking to start a rewarding career in education, we'd love to hear from you!

💷 Pay: £95-£100 per day (PAYE)
🕒 Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm
📍 Locations: Camden & Islington
🎓 Education/ Psychology / Nursing Graduates welcome!

The ideal candidate will be patient, proactive, and passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning. You'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with pupils, support their individual needs, and help them thrive both academically and socially.

What we're looking for:

  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development

  • Experience with children or SEND is beneficial, but enthusiastic graduates are encouraged to apply

  • A patient, caring, and resilient attitude

  • Enhanced Child DBS (and/or Overseas Police Checks)

  • Full employment and education history, with any gaps explained

  • Legal right to work in the UK
