Whether you are considering a career in teaching, educational psychology, youth work, counselling, social care or another child-focused profession, working as a Graduate School Support Assistant is an excellent way to gain meaningful experience while making a real difference to young people.

The Role

• Supporting pupils in the classroom and helping them engage with their learning.
• Working alongside teachers and school staff to support pupils' progress.
• Providing one-to-one and small-group support.
• Helping pupils develop their confidence, independence and social skills.
• Building positive relationships with children and young people.
• Supporting classroom activities, behaviour management and daily school routines.
• Gaining valuable practical experience within a professional education setting.

Who We're Looking For

• Recent graduates or university students.
• A genuine interest in working with children and young people.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• An enthusiastic, patient and approachable attitude.
• Reliable, professional and proactive individuals.
• Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
