SEND Learning Support Assistant - Barnet

  • Pay: £95-£115 per day, PAYE

  • Start: 02/11/2026

  • Duration: Ongoing

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking experienced SEND LSAs to support pupils with autism and a range of learning disabilities at a specialist school in Barnet.

The role:

  • Delivering 1:1 and small-group support.

  • Supporting communication, sensory regulation and independence.

  • Adapting activities to meet individual learning needs.

  • Working closely with teachers to maintain consistent support.

Candidate requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a specialist SEND school or complex-needs setting.

  • Proven experience supporting pupils with autism and learning disabilities.

  • Confidence supporting pupils with communication difficulties and sensory needs.

  • A calm, resilient and proactive approach to behaviour and individual needs.

  • Strong relationship-building skills and a genuine commitment to pupil development.

  • Willingness to support personal care where required.
