KS1 1:1 Teaching Assistant - Stockport 📚

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in Key Stage 1. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, resilient and dedicated TA with a strong background in SEND support.

The Role:

  • Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a KS1 pupil with additional needs.

  • Supporting learning, emotional regulation and positive behaviour throughout the school day.

  • Working closely with the class teacher and wider school team to ensure the pupil can access learning and thrive.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has extensive experience supporting children with SEND on a 1:1 basis.

  • Is resilient, patient and confident responding to challenging behaviour.

  • Has excellent behaviour management and communication skills.

  • Team Teach training would be highly beneficial.
