SANZA Teaching Agency is seeking an enthusiastic Reception Teacher for an independent preparatory school in Camden. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about early childhood education and wants to give young learners the very best start to their school journey.

You'll create a nurturing, stimulating classroom where children feel safe, supported and excited to learn. Through creative teaching, purposeful play and carefully planned activities, you'll help pupils develop the foundations they need for a successful transition into Year 1.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging Reception lessons in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Developing children's early literacy, numeracy, communication and physical skills.
  • Providing opportunities for learning through play, exploration and discovery.
  • Monitoring progress and identifying individual learning needs.
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.
  • Maintaining a positive, inclusive and well-organised classroom.

We're keen to hear from teachers who:

  • Hold QTS and have experience teaching within EYFS.
  • Understand child development and the EYFS framework.
  • Can create an engaging environment that encourages independence and curiosity.
  • Have high expectations while remaining nurturing and approachable.
