Location: Camden, North London
Pay: £95-£120 per day, depending on experience and qualifications
Hours: Typically 8:00am-4:00pm
Contract: Daily Supply / Flexible / Long-Term
Start: ASAP

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a range of welcoming nurseries and primary schools across Camden who are looking for reliable Early Years staff to support children across Nursery and Reception.

The role:

As a Nursery Practitioner or Early Years Assistant, you will:

  • Support children aged 0-5 through engaging, play-based learning.

  • Help develop children's communication, language and social skills.

  • Assist with activities in line with the EYFS framework.

  • Support daily routines, including snack times, outdoor play and personal care where required.

  • Encourage children's independence, confidence and curiosity.

  • Help maintain a safe, nurturing and stimulating Early Years environment.

  • Work closely with teachers, Nursery staff and other support professionals.

Who we're looking for:

  • Previous experience working with children aged 0-5.

  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is desirable but not always essential.

  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.

  • A patient, caring and proactive approach.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.

  • Legal Right to Work in the UK.
