Tradewind Recruitment is working with a well-established nursery in Fulham seeking a qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join its team on a full-time, long-term temporary basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Early Years professional who enjoys supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing in a positive and nurturing nursery environment.

The Role

As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, you will deliver engaging, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework, helping to create a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting children's development across all seven areas of learning.
• Planning and delivering engaging, child-led activities.
• Completing observations and assessments and updating learning journeys.
• Supporting children with SEND and EAL where required.
• Encouraging communication, confidence and independence.
• Building positive relationships with parents, carers and colleagues.
• Maintaining safeguarding procedures and promoting children's wellbeing.

Who Should Apply?

The ideal candidate will have:

• A recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential).
• Previous experience in an EYFS nursery setting.
• Good knowledge of the EYFS framework and Development Matters.
• Experience delivering play-based learning and completing observations.
• An understanding of supporting children with SEND and EAL.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A warm, reliable and professional approach.
• A commitment to safeguarding and children's development.

Salary

£27,000-£34,000 per annum, depending on qualifications, experience and responsibilities.

Candidates with relevant Level 3 qualifications and nursery experience will be considered, with higher salaries available for those bringing more extensive EYFS experience, strong assessment skills and SEND/EAL knowledge.
