Meet us at the Early Career Teacher Conference
Tradewind Recruitment will be at the Early Career Teacher Conference in Manchester on Saturday 27 October and we’d love to see you there.
Hosted by the Chartered College of Teaching, the event predominantly targets student teacher members of the Chartered College, although newly qualified teachers, members and non-members are all welcome.
You can expect to hear from a wide range of speakers who will discuss an array of subjects relating to early career teachers, alongside a range of helpful workshops.
Designed to support teaching staff in the early years of their development, attendees will have access to an extensive set of resources and knowledge.
The event also represents a valuable networking opening for those in attendance, as there’ll be ample opportunity to meet like-minded individuals in similar employment positions.
Numerous speakers are already confirmed for the event, and they cover topics including assessment and feedback, using technology in the classroom, and what teachers need to know about special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
The chief executive of the Chartered College of Teaching, Professor Dame Alison Peacock, will approach the topic of Teaching without Limits, while others will discuss ways of managing teacher workload and making the best use of time.
This knowledge can prove invaluable for early careers teachers and NQTs, as it can help to enhance existing knowledge and aid the development of new teaching strategies.
The Chartered College of Teaching aims to put the latest research and teaching developments in front of those who need it most – enabling teachers to deliver the most effective and informed form of education possible.
You can find out more about the event here. And if you’re in attendance, we’ll be in the Tradewind Recruitment Workshop Room – drop by and say hello!
