SEN Teaching Assistant - Havering
Location: Havering
Role: SEN Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Autism Support
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Supply (part-time/full-time options available)
Salary: £90 - £100 per day (depending on experience)
Year Groups: Nursery to Year 6

What We're Looking For:

  • Prior experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs, especially Autism.

  • Confidence working 1:1 and in small groups (phonics and/or SATs support experience is a bonus).

  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.

  • Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude.

  • Familiarity with IEPs, EHCPs, and child development milestones.

Essential Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

  • Right to work in the UK.

  • A full CV covering all work since leaving education.

  • Two recent professional references.

  • Overseas Police Check (if applicable).
