We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic English Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in South Northamptonshire on a part-time basis (3 days per week) starting from September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher seeking work-life balance while continuing to make a meaningful impact in the classroom.

About the Role:

  • Teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4

  • Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that inspire and challenge pupils of all abilities

  • Support pupils' progress and preparation for GCSE examinations

  • Plan and assess in line with the school's curriculum and assessment framework

  • Work collaboratively with a strong and welcoming English department

  • Be part of the wider pastoral care and contribute to the school ethos

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification (essential)

  • Experience teaching English at secondary level (KS3/KS4)

  • Strong subject knowledge and a creative approach to lesson planning

  • Excellent classroom management skills and a passion for inspiring learners

  • A positive, flexible attitude and a commitment to high standards

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
