Are you a confident and consistent SEN Teaching Assistant with strong skills in behaviour management and setting clear boundaries?

SANZA Teaching Agency is working with a primary school in Ealing, West London, who are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child in Year 6 with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).

The child requires structured, consistent support throughout the school day. This includes managing challenging behaviour, applying calm and clear strategies, and providing time-out sessions when necessary. With the right support in place, the child has already shown excellent progress - and your role will be key in helping them transition smoothly into secondary school.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience supporting children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) or other SEN
  • A calm, patient, and nurturing manner while being firm, consistent, and fair
  • Strong behaviour management strategies and the ability to set and maintain clear boundaries
  • The ability to work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and parents to ensure consistent support
  • A genuine commitment to inclusion and helping every child thrive academically and emotionally

This is a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant role for the full academic year, working closely with school staff to provide consistent 1:1 behaviour support and create a safe, structured environment for learning.
