Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established Further Education college in the Northampton area, seeking a full-time Electrical Installation Assessor to join their dynamic team.

The Role:

As an Electrical Installation Assessor, you will be responsible for guiding and assessing apprentices and learners both in the classroom and in the workplace. Your role will be vital in ensuring learners meet their qualification requirements and are industry-ready upon completion.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting workplace assessments and observations of Electrical Installation learners

  • Supporting learners in building a robust portfolio of evidence

  • Delivering on-site reviews and progress checks

  • Liaising with employers and curriculum teams to ensure a high standard of delivery

  • Maintaining up-to-date records and contributing to the continual improvement of the programme

Requirements:

  • Relevant industry experience in Electrical Installation

  • Assessor qualification (e.g., TAQA, A1, or equivalent) - or willingness to work towards one

  • Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • A DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one through Tradewind)
