Music Teacher
Location: Northampton
Start Date: October 2025 | Full-Time | Permanent or Long-Term

We're working closely with a group of dynamic and inclusive secondary schools in Northampton, seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Music Teacher to join their creative arts departments from October 2025. Whether you're seeking a permanent role or a long-term placement, there are flexible, full-time opportunities available to suit your goals.

Role Highlights:

  • Teach engaging and inclusive Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for GCSE and A-Level teaching in some schools

  • Inspire students through practical music-making, performance opportunities, and music technology

  • Plan and deliver a varied curriculum that includes classical, contemporary, and world music traditions

  • Lead or support extra-curricular activities, such as choir, band, or school productions

  • Collaborate with creative colleagues on cross-curricular projects and events

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) with a specialism in Music

  • Confident teaching both practical and theoretical elements of the music curriculum

  • Able to play at least one instrument to a competent level and support student performance development

  • Passionate about making music accessible, engaging, and inclusive for all learners

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply and will receive tailored support
