Tradewind are recruiting! Are you looking for your next role teaching Science in a school located in Islington?

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a supportive and dynamic school environment in Islington. This is a part-time position, working Tuesday to Thursday, with a start date from November - December 2025.


As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering engaging and high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Supporting students' academic progress, enthusiasm, and curiosity in Science.
  • No Planning required
  • Contributing to the wider school community, including extracurricular opportunities.

Qualifications and Person Specification:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or combined Science).
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire students.
  • Experience teaching Science in secondary schools preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic, flexible, and committed to student development.
