Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher specialising in History, with additional responsibility for Key Stage 3 Geography, to join a diverse and inclusive secondary school in Islington. This is a full-time position, starting from November - December 2025.
About the Role:
As a Humanities Teacher, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering engaging and high-quality History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Teaching Key Stage 3 Geography to foster student interest and understanding.
- Supporting students' academic progress, critical thinking, and personal development.
- No planning required
- Contributing to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities.
Qualifications and Person Specification:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in History, Geography, or a related Humanities subject.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire students.
- Experience teaching History and/or Geography at Key Stages 3 and 4 is desirable.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Enthusiastic, flexible, and committed to student development.
