Tradewind are recruiting! Are you looking for your next role teaching English/Drama in a school located in Islington?

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a passionate and dedicated English/Drama Teacher to join a supportive and dynamic school environment in Islington. This is a full-time position, teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a small number of Key Stage 3 Drama classes, starting from November - July 2025.


As an English/Drama Teacher, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering engaging and high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Teaching a few Key Stage 3 Drama classes, fostering creativity and confidence.
  • Supporting students' academic progress, enthusiasm, and personal development.
  • No Planning required
  • Contributing to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities.

Qualifications and Person Specification:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in English, Drama, or a related subject.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire students.
  • Experience teaching English at Key Stages 3 and 4; Drama teaching experience is desirable.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic, flexible, and committed to student development.
