Food Technology Teacher - Long Term Supply
Bolton | Secondary School | Start Date: ASAP or After the October half term

We are working with a "Good" rated Ofsted secondary school in Bolton who are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join their team on a long-term supply basis. The school is well known for its supportive environment, strong leadership, and inclusive culture. You will be joining a welcoming and collaborative Design Technology department, where staff work closely together to share resources and best practice, ensuring both teachers and students are well supported.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Plan, prepare and assess in line with curriculum requirements
  • Motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and department, supporting extra-curricular opportunities where appropriate
  • Work effectively within a supportive and forward-thinking DT team

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Specialism in Food Technology, confident teaching KS3 and KS4
  • Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for delivering engaging lessons
  • Strong behaviour management and organisational skills
  • A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
  • Previous secondary school teaching experience is desirable, but strong ECTs will also
