Job Description
Tradewind Recruitment are working with a welcoming primary school in central Bolton who are seeking a dedicated Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role is to start as soon as possible and will continue until the end of the academic year, with the potential for extension.
The successful candidate will provide day-to-day classroom support in Year 1 and Year 2, working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons, support with phonics and early reading, and ensure that every child has the opportunity to succeed.
The successful candidate will:
Have recent experience supporting children in a primary school setting
Be confident working with the KS1 curriculum, particularly phonics and early literacy/numeracy
Show patience, empathy and resilience when supporting children with differing needs
Work effectively as part of a team and build positive relationships with staff and parents
