We are currently working with a group of forward-looking secondary schools in Northampton seeking to appoint motivated Science Teachers to join their teams from October 2025. These roles are available on both a long-term basis and as permanent appointments, depending on your preference and experience.
The Role:
Deliver high-quality Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4, with potential for Key Stage 5 if desired
Foster curiosity and a love for learning through practical experiments, inquiry-based tasks, and real-world connections
Adapt teaching to meet the diverse needs of learners using inclusive and evidence-informed methods
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, assessments, and enrichment activities
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Holds QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics - or the ability to teach across disciplines
Demonstrates excellent classroom management and the ability to engage learners of all abilities
Committed to continuous improvement and excited about using research-informed practices
A team player who contributes positively to departmental and whole-school initiatives
