Early Years Practitioner - CACHE Level 3

Location: Islington, London
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)
Pay: £90 - £110 per day (dependent on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Islington to recruit a qualified and committed Early Years Practitioner. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity within the school's EYFS setting, supporting children in their earliest stage of learning and development.

The Role:

  • Work as part of a well-established Early Years team to deliver the EYFS curriculum

  • Support the personal, social, and emotional development of children aged 3-5

  • Contribute to planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities

  • Track developmental milestones and maintain high-quality learning journals

  • Collaborate closely with parents, teachers, and support staff to ensure consistent care

Who We're Looking For:

  • CACHE Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent (required)

  • Solid understanding of the EYFS framework and child development

  • A warm, observant and professional approach to working with young children

  • Ability to contribute to a calm, purposeful classroom environment

  • Strong communication skills, especially when working with families and colleagues
