This is a unique and exciting opportunity for a teacher with a genuine passion for SEND to play a key role in supporting pupils with additional needs across the school. The Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Plan and implement engaging lessons and individual learning programmes, using creative and multi-sensory approaches to meet diverse learning styles.

  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, maintaining accurate records and contributing to EHCP reviews and planning.

  • Take an active role in developing inclusive classroom practice across the school, modelling strategies and supporting colleagues where appropriate.

This role is ideal for a teacher who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys taking initiative to create innovative, child-centred learning opportunities.

It offers a rich learning environment where technology, outdoor learning, and creativity are woven into daily teaching. Pupils are inspired to think critically, express themselves confidently, and develop curiosity for the world around them.

The leadership team is dynamic, supportive, and genuinely invested in staff development. Teachers benefit from ongoing professional learning opportunities, mentorship, and a culture that encourages creativity, reflection, and growth.

The school's commitment to SEND inclusion is exceptional. It has a strong pastoral structure, excellent teaching assistant support, and access to external specialist services. For the right candidate, this is a school where you can truly make an impact and see your ideas come to life.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who is:

  • A qualified Primary Teacher (QTS essential)

  • Experienced in or passionate about working with children with SEND

  • Knowledgeable in adapting the curriculum and differentiating effectively

  • Confident in using creative approaches to engage and inspire pupils

  • Committed to inclusion, teamwork, and continuous improvement

  • Ambitious, enthusiastic, and ready to take on a role that could grow into a leadership position within SEND
