About the Role

As the Year 5 Class Teacher, you will:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum.

  • Build strong relationships with pupils, encouraging confidence, resilience, and a love of learning.

  • Differentiate effectively to support all learners, including those with additional needs or EAL.

  • Work collaboratively with the Year 5/6 phase team to ensure consistency and progression across upper KS2.

  • Contribute to curriculum innovation, enrichment activities, and whole-school initiatives.

This role is well suited to a confident and reflective practitioner with excellent classroom management and the ability to create a stimulating, inclusive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds QTS and has experience teaching across Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5 or Year 6.
