Cover Supervisor - Wellingborough
Full-time | Term Time Only | Long-term Opportunity

Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for a proactive and reliable Cover Supervisor to join a well-regarded secondary school in the Wellingborough area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on classroom experience-ideal for aspiring teachers or anyone passionate about working with young people.

About the Role:

  • Supervising lessons in the absence of the regular teacher

  • Delivering pre-set work and ensuring students remain on task

  • Managing behaviour in line with school policies

  • Supporting student engagement and maintaining a positive classroom environment

  • Full-time role, Monday to Friday during term time

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have experience working with young people in a school or youth setting (desirable but not essential)

  • Be confident, adaptable, and able to manage classroom behaviour effectively

  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Be organised, approachable, and calm under pressure

  • Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
