This role involves working across a range of schools, including specialist provisions and mainstream settings, delivering tailored teaching and emotional support to pupils with additional needs. You'll play a key role in creating safe, nurturing learning environments where students can thrive both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet individual learning and emotional needs.

  • Support pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), ensuring all objectives are met effectively.

  • Work collaboratively with SENCOs, support staff, and external agencies to promote holistic progress.

  • Foster positive behaviour strategies and build strong, trusting relationships with learners.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Proven experience working with SEMH pupils and those with EHCPs.

  • A nurturing, patient, and adaptable teaching style.

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
