A wonderful, inclusive primary school in Lewisham is looking for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join their friendly team from January 2026.
About the Role
You'll be working in a small KS1 class supporting children with Autism (ASC) and Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN).
Your role will involve:
Supporting the class teacher to deliver tailored, engaging lessons
Helping pupils to develop confidence, communication, and independence
Providing one-to-one and small group support
Using visual aids, communication tools, and sensory strategies to meet individual needs
Working closely with the SEN team and external professionals to ensure every child thrives
