Business Studies Teacher - Secondary School

Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
Pay: £120 - £200 per day (depending on experience and pay scale)
Start Date: January 2026 (or sooner for the right candidate)
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term (with potential to become permanent)

Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a forward-thinking secondary school who are seeking a passionate and motivated Business Studies Teacher to join their vibrant and supportive team.

The Role:

As the school's Business Studies Teacher, you will:

  • Teach Business Studies across KS4 and KS5 (GCSE and A-Level)

  • Plan and deliver engaging, relevant and challenging lessons that bring business theory to life

  • Assess, track and report on student progress, ensuring all learners achieve their full potential

  • Contribute to curriculum development within the Business department

  • Inspire students to develop an interest in entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, and the wider world of business

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
Experience teaching Business Studies at KS4 and/or KS5
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A passion for inspiring young people to succeed
A valid DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one through Tradewind)
