Behaviour Mentor - Secondary School - Full-Time
Start: Immediate | Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term | Pay: Competitive (via PAYE)
Tradewind Recruitment is working with a supportive mainstream secondary school in Lewisham seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Mentor to join their team immediately. This is a full-time, long-term role, providing vital behavioural and emotional support to students who need it most.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you'll work both one-to-one and in small groups with students, helping them stay engaged in lessons, manage their behaviour positively, and build the confidence and resilience they need to succeed. You'll also work closely with teaching and pastoral teams to promote a positive school culture and ensure every student has the opportunity to thrive.
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children or young people (in schools or similar settings)
A calm, confident, and empathetic approach
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A valid Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Availability to work full-time, long-term
